Sea Mist At Dawn by didjerama Sea Mist At Dawn by didjerama
Hey all.

One of the photos I got from this morning sunrise from Bridlingtons' North Beach. Using Nd's filter and a 30Second exposure on a rough sea.

Enjoy.

I really like it when longer exposures add mood to photos, like with this one!
Great composition too.

oooh, this is lovely! So mysterious and smooth.
Is it remaining of a bridge?

I'm a newbie when it comes to filters, what is a Nd filter?

Its tidal breaks on the beach :). A ND filter allows you to get much long exposures as its a dark piece of glass :)

Mmm I can't wait to try some long exposures on moving water... nothing quite like it.

Great capture!

I just love that misty effect created by the long exposure, and that composition with the two rows of stone leading towards the corner is really special!

One of the best pictures I've seen in this site. The scene doesn't look real but it's very good.

A path from somewhere to nowhere? A strange garden steeping stone set? The mist covers the stormy sea so the pylons (if they are) could be anywhere! Gorgeous and moody photo! Muted monopalette adds to the mystery. Fave!

Like it :) The water looks like it has oil on top or something, the way it is swirling. I like the way the breakers fade off into the distance, the unknown :)
