Hey all.

One of the shots from Chruch Green Bridlington.

The priory was founded in 1120 for Augustinian canons by Walter de Gant but of the present remains, nothing dates before the 13th century. Bridlington Priory was largely destroyed during the Dissolution of the Monasteries and its last Prior, William Wode was executed at Tyburn for his part in the Pilgrimage of Grace. The church of the priory, dedicated to St Mary remains in full, escaping the destruction that followed the Dissolution of the Monasteries, because it was the Parish church of Bridlington. Some of the stones from the old priory were used in the construction of Bridlington's piers.

Enjoy.

Amazing shot that caught my eye at once. The lights and colors are perfect, nothing there to complain about. But... i want it just a little bit sharper for my taste... And that car is a little bit distracting... But what can you do? Cropping the picture would be sad and I guess you didnt wanted to break the window, release the handbrake and push the car away... ;)

Is this an IR shot?

I love the twisty path contrasting the stark straight lines of the tower.

Wow, I love the subtle difference and contrast of the orange sky and the blue surrounding. I love snow, and you've captured the essense of it so well.
:iconplacey:
it isn't snow - its the IR filter that makes grass and tree blossom look like snow (god knows why)

as ive said to you matt - such a great shot

Plant matter reflects lots of IR light that's why it looks white.
Are you using CCD or film?

Reuse it if you can, fix it if you can't, make one if you have to, but only buy one as a last resort.
